The Multiplier Program is an industry engagement program established by Cicada Innovations to connect Industry with innovative advanced technology Startups and Researchers.
The program enables invited industry participants to tap into our curated community and explore how up-and-coming startups and research initiatives can make a difference to their companies and the synergies that can be exploited for mutual benefit.
The aim of the Multiplier Program is to increase the quantity and quality of collaboration between Industry, Research and Startups, utilising the world-class research that comes out of our institutions to help shape our futures industries and generate economic prosperity.
Each industry participate in the program will be invited to a session outlining areas of interest for innovative solutions followed by individual meetings with a selected shortlist of founders and researchers. This will be based on each industry participant’s briefing, and Cicada Innovation’s will select and invite appropriate startup founders and researchers from our portfolio companies and stakeholders to take part in these sessions. In addition, industry participants will be invited to our monthly networking events.
The Multiplier Program will culminate in an end of year ‘Nobel style’ awards ceremony where we will celebrate science and innovation by giving away a cash prize to the most disruptive innovator.
Yes Lab has met with a number of start-ups through the multiplier program and is now looking to progress to a proof of concept with them.
Cicada Innovations is an internationally recognised and awarded deep technology incubator.
